Chera Howard Hope, PT, DPT, MTC, CMTPT
Chief Executive Officer and Director of Physical Therapy
I have been practicing Physical Therapy for over 20 years and I am passionate about my profession! I have had the opportunity to travel and practice physical therapy around the U.S., El Salvador, and the Dominican Republic. These adventures have given me a diverse experience working with newborns, children and adults in many different settings. My training has afforded me a certification in manual therapy, trigger point dry needling, and a Level 1 certification in Golf Rehabilitation through Titleist Performance Institute. I specialize in Craniofacial and TMJ Pain and will complete my certification in this area soon. I am also Certified in Ergonomics, and can help you maintain a healthy and balanced posture at work and with all of your life activities. Basically, I love learning everything I can to promote a holistic approach to care.
I have a strong desire to stay connected with the Latin American communities where I lived and worked. I became inspired by the TOMS Shoe Company autobiography by Blake Mycoskie Start Something that Matters. Blake donates a pair of shoes to children in rural Latin American communities for every pair sold. This fueled my dream to create a Wellness Center that gives back to the communities that I love so much.
I am from Virginia, and although Virginia is a beautiful place to grow up, I have been drawn to Colorado since my 20’s. I have been blessed with two little boys and an amazing husband who manages the business side of our Wellness Center. I enjoy snow skiing, oil painting, singing, hiking, camping with my fellas, rock climbing, and anything outdoors. I have a passion for helping people feel their best!
Roni Sorensen, PT
I love working with Chera and Adrian and fully support the vision of HOPE Physical Therapy and Wellness Center.
I grew up in NE Ohio but always knew I would live in sunny Colorado after spending many summers exploring Rocky Mountain National Park with my parents (who followed me out here 17 years ago!) After graduation I moved across the country to Grand Junction for my first PT position more than 20 years ago working with traumatic brain injured and stroke patients. For the past several years I have focused more on patients with headaches/neck and back pain. I also enjoy treating clients with neurological diagnoses as well as vertigo and general outpatient orthopedics. Last year I added dry needling to my treatment techniques and have seen many great results. I am passionate about working with our patients to achieve their goals!
My husband Steve and I greatly appreciate the adventures and beauty of Colorado and have loved raising our sons, Joel and Luke, in this community. We enjoy hiking (dragging the boys), camping and skiing and while we adore our adopted home state we also have a passion to travel and explore new countries with and on special occasions without our boys.

Greetings! I am thrilled to be in Colorado and a part of HOPE Physical Therapy and Wellness Center!
For over 20 years, I have been helping patients gain their full wellness potential by providing holistic and individualized care. My treatment style involves a one on one, hands-on approach, with emphasis on manual therapy to speed healing and improve function as quickly as possible.
I am passionate about empowering my patients to take an active role in their recovery, and help them establish tools to maintain their wellness. I am board certified in orthopedics, hold a certification in trigger point dry needling and strength and conditioning. I have advanced training in pelvic health care including therapy for pelvic pain, incontinence, digestive disorders, sexual disorders, and pre/post-partum conditions. Additionally, I use visceral and neural manipulation techniques, which allow me to effectively treat connections between the abdominal organs, nervous system, fascia, bones and muscles.
I practiced physical therapy in Oregon and Wisconsin before realizing our dream of moving to Colorado. My family is thrilled to live in this area, and plans to make the most out of local recreational opportunities including hiking, camping and skiing.

Hello! I am so happy to be a part of the HOPE Physical Therapy and Wellness team!
A little about my educational background, I went to the University of Florida (go Gators!) where I earned my undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology, and went to the University of Delaware to attain my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I am a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy, a certified strength and conditioning specialist, and am also certified in dry needling.
I am originally from south Florida, but met my husband while living and working as a PT in New England before we decided to move to Colorado in early 2016. I worked for several years in the Military Health System at both Peterson Air Force Base and Fort Carson before joining Hope Physical Therapy and Wellness. I have a passion for physical therapy and a particular interest in orthopedics. What I love most about this profession is helping people achieve their goals, whether that involves high-level sports or simply helping patients be able to care for themselves and their loved ones. I especially enjoy the teaching aspect of what we do and hope to help my patients truly understand their conditions and how physical therapy can help.
I have moved around a bit over the years, spending the most time living in Florida, Delaware, at sea (working for a cruise line), and New England before moving to Colorado. My husband and I love the Colorado lifestyle and spend most of our time enjoying the outdoors including activities such as hiking, biking, snowboarding, landscape and wildlife photography, and camping.
Stacey Gresham, PT, DPT
Hello! My name is Stacey Gresham and I am so excited to be part of the team at HOPE Physical Therapy and Wellness! I was born in Richmond, Va., grew up in Marietta, Ga., and moved to Colorado Springs in 2017. I graduated from the University of Alabama-Birmingham with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked alongside everyone from professional triathletes, to weekend warriors, to those simply trying to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. Since moving to the Rockies, I’ve grown in my love for treating the body holistically. Using a variety of proven techniques including cupping, dry needling, visceral manipulation, scar mobilization and manual therapy, my goal is to help achieve the fullest healing for my patients. I am currently growing my skillset to include yoga, Pilates, functional medicine, and women’s health. For me, the most rewarding part of being a physical therapist is seeing a patient’s quality of life and activity level increase with every treatment!
I love being active and in nature, and living in the gorgeous Colorado Springs area with my husband, two children, two dogs, two guinea pigs, and eight chickens.
Lisa Bolin, PT, DPT
Hello! I am very excited to join the HOPE Physical Therapy and Wellness team. My family and I recently moved to Colorado (summer of 2020). My husband, Danny, graduated from the Air Force Academy, so for years, it has been a goal of ours to move to Colorado Springs. We have three children who keep us on our toes. Weekends are filled with sports games, hiking, skiing, tennis- anything to be in the great outdoors. The Air Force has taken us to some extraordinary places and we have enjoyed every city to include Tokyo, Albuquerque, Tucson, Las Vegas, Washington DC, Montgomery and finally Colorado Springs. I have learned from wonderful therapists from each of these locations and worked in a variety of settings to include acute care and inpatient rehabilitation as well as outpatient orthopedic.
A little background on me: I graduated from University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB) in 2008. I worked in the inpatient setting but didn’t feel I’d found my calling until I did a rotation through outpatient orthopedics at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. It was there that I saw a large population of patients with back and neck pain. My background in management of the spine and lumbopelvic complex has led me to see the interdependence of the musculoskeletal system and the importance of examining the whole patient/person. My career has included treatment of the young military population and their dependents, rehabilitation of artists in the Cirque du Soleil medicine system, and also care of ante and postpartum patients. In working in each of these environments, there is a common thread: education and preventative treatment is key. Also, personally, in having three babies in five years, I have benefited directly from physical therapy and education and am passionate about sharing what I’ve learned with patients. The holistic approach of the team of therapists at HOPE Physical Therapy and Wellness is what drew me to this practice to begin with and we are excited to be in the great state of Colorado!
Heather Eslinger, PT, MPT
Physical Therapist & Pilates Instructor
I am thrilled to be a part of the family at Hope PT and Wellness! I was fortunate to be a high school and collegiate athlete, but sustained a severe injury at the age of 16, so have had a deep respect and an intimate relationship with the field of Physical Therapy, even before I chose it as a career. I graduated from Northwestern University Physical Therapy school in Chicago in November 1999 with a Masters in Physical Therapy and have called Colorado home since January 2000. I grew up in Arizona and Illinois, but as the daughter of a pilot, we traveled a lot; my family traveled to Colorado almost every year to ski, hike and camp, so both my brother and I knew our paths would eventually lead us here to grow our roots. My first job here was at Penrose Hospital as a float therapist, primarily on the trauma and orthopedic teams, and I have worked in acute care, outpatient, home health care, pediatrics (including hippotherapy), pilates and now back to outpatient as the resident pilates PT at Hope. I am passionate about helping others achieve their best health, and love that Hope embraces a holistic view of therapy and wellness.
My husband, Aaron, and I are both midwest transplants and love all that the great outdoors of Colorado have to offer. We are blessed with 2 wonderful children, Aiden and Claire, who keep us busy with multiple school and club sports, but enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, fishing and skiing as a family whenever we can. We are animal lovers, so our 2 rescue dogs go with us wherever they can. We also tend to have a small pet at any given time, and the current one is an African pygmy hedgehog named Elsa. I personally have a passion for standup paddleboarding and enjoy relaxing on the water with my SUP Pups any chance I can get!
I am so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful group of people here at HOPE.
A little bit about myself.
The military has been a way of life for me since birth. I call North Carolina home, but I was born at Tripler Army Hospital in Hawaii. I had the opportunity to travel to the Philippines while my father was stationed at San Miguel. I have been with the Military my entire life and it was the Air Force that brought me to Colorado Springs, and I now call Colorado home.
My background is medical. After leaving the Military, I worked at Penrose hospital for 11 years. In addition to my work at Hope, I am a certified Medical Support Clinical Hypnotherapist and I also offer auricular (ear) acupressure. I truly enjoy helping individuals reach their best potential in the best way for them.
I am an avid gardener, growing a wide variety of herbs and vegetables. I enjoy hiking where I tend to collect rocks and spend as much time as I can reading from the stacks of books I seem to have everywhere.
I am grateful to be a part of the team at Hope Physical Therapy and Wellness!
A little about myself: I grew up all over the world in a military family as well as serving in the US Air Force myself. Colorado became my home in 1995 and I have enjoyed all the state has offered. I began mountain, rock, and ice climbing in my mid-40s and have completed all of the Colorado 14ers (14,000-foot mountains in the state). When I am not outdoors hiking and climbing, I enjoy baking cookies and spending time with my four granddaughters.
I am a social butterfly and I love interacting and getting to know others. My joy is seeing people happy, healthy, and getting to do the things that they love to do in life.
I am so excited to be part of the HOPE team and look forward to welcoming and serving our clients on their journey to wellness. I enjoy supporting our HOPE therapist and meeting each new client that finds their way to our unique place of healing.
After selling our home in Texas, my family spent the summer of 2021 traveling throughout the western United States in our RV. We enjoyed seeing many of the country’s most beautiful places, but more than any other, Colorado captured our hearts. So, full of excitement, we decided to plant our lives here in Colorado Springs. After living in the south for our entire lives, we really look forward to experiencing all 4 seasons and everything they have to offer like sking, hiking, and beautiful views.
When I’m not serving others at Hope, I enjoy experiencing nature, whether on a hiking trail, from a hammock, or in my garden. I find so much peace in creation. I also love practicing yoga, delving in photography, and reading all kinds of books.
Hello everyone! I am beyond thrilled to be a part of the HOPE Physical Therapy team! I discovered this phenomenal place as a patient a year or so after their opening. I was in a horrible auto accident and had a bad experience with the first PT clinic I visited, so I received a referral to see Chera at HOPE PT! I experienced relief quicker than I ever thought possible, she worked one-on-one with me regularly. Through the course of my visits, she learned of my experience in marketing and business. I initially supported the small business as the social media coordinator for their Float Center; since November 2018 I have supported HOPE with a number of systems to encourage their growth and increase patient education.
I am a Colorado Springs native and haven’t been able to get too far from this beautiful place, just yet! My experience is not in physical therapy but does include marketing & work in the health and wellness industry. I am passionate and love my city/ community and actively participate in it as much as possible whether it’s being a volunteer, shopping locally, or participating in community environmental efforts. In my free time, I enjoy working with indoor plants, embracing tiny house living, and indulging in podcasts. The ongoing knowledge I receive from HOPE fuels me personally and professionally, so to join their team is truly an honor! Happy to be on the journey of #HOPE4Wellness
Adrian D. Hope
Director of Operations, CEEO (Chief Everything Else Officer)
Hey everyone! This is Adrian, and I love this place! I am originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma. After serving more than 20 years in the US Army, I now call Colorado Springs my home. I am so excited that my wife, Chera, elected for us to retire here. She had 51% of the vote and it turned out great for us to return to this wonderful community.
In May of 2017, I completed my Master of Business Administration degree from UCCS. It was an amazing experience and I met so many great people and professors. I utilize much of the knowledge gained in the MBA program in my day to day duties at HOPE Physical Therapy and Wellness Center.
I am excited for our future here! This is going to be such great experience for our boys. We are so excited to participate in the unlimited outdoor activities that this beautiful city and state have to offer.
